These classes are not your standard regular classes - they are designed to push you to explore and discover new transitions, techniques, frame, spacing, weight transfer, angling, and more in your Brazilian Zouk partner work. With a focus on flow, technique, unspoken connection and more, you'll be challenged to improve your skills and take your dancing to the next level. These classes are for Intermediate to Advanced Dancers. Please see the pre-requisites before purchasing tickets.

MASTERING YOUR SOCIAL DANCE SKILLS by BUILDING CREATIVITY AND AUTONOMY WORKSHOP
Workshops 1: Ana and Pedro 2:00 - 4:00 PM
In their workshops, Pedro and Ana will challenge you to push your boundaries, urging you to explore the depths of their creativity technique, and movement including footwork, body movement, and more! Don't miss this opportunity to level up your dance skills and become more creative and autonomous on the dance floor!! This workshop will cover, footwork, framing, tilts, head movement and more through their experience, their teaching, and their method.
WORKSHOP 2:
DISCOVERING THE ART OF "DRAMA"

Ana and Pedro at a glance
From Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Pedro and Ana are Brazilian Zouk Instructors certified by MAC, Alex de Carvalho’s method. They are also certified judges with the Brazilian Zouk Dance Council ( BZDC ).
Both have a dance background that goes beyond the partner dance field. Pedro studied at dance schools focused on solo dances such as Contemporary and Classical Ballet. Ana is also a Contemporary and Classical Ballet instructor trained at the Municipal Theatre of Rio de Janeiro.
The duo is highly experienced in teaching due to their contact with students of all ages at ‘Alex de Carvalho’s Dance School’ where they have developed an accessible and fun teaching approach.
Now based in Canada, Pedro and Ana are developing a dance community in Toronto, as resident dance instructors. Together, they promote and spread the Brazilian Zouk Culture in Canada and North America.
The couple has also been teaching at the most renowned Zouk Festivals in Canada, the USA, Brazil and Europe.
Pedro and Ana, together, have collected more than 10 podium finishes in official Jack and Jill competitions.
