DARE TO ZOUK PROGRAM™
We are excited to continue our 7th year in our renowned Newcomer program - DARE TO ZOUK at NYC ZOUK FESTIVAL!. This program is for those first discovering Brazilian Zouk and seeking where to start the journey.
Many people who have come to learn ZOUK their first time, have traveled to NYC to take the program due to its curriculum, experience, and knowledge of all our certified instructors. We have "graduated" 100s of students from all over the United States in this program and many of them continue to progress and advance in the scene. We are very excited to continue this program and we can not wait to share the magic with you.
Please note that the Dare to Zouk Program does not include Intermediate/Advanced Workshops. If you wish to take those workshops you need to purchase a Full Festival pass.
The DARE TO ZOUK PROGRAM AT NYC ZOUK FESTIVAL 2024 is a great way to start learning ZOUK or going back to fundamentals. The NYC DARE TO ZOUK TEAM led this year by the amazing Igor Fraga with the members of the Dare to Zouk Team - Ryel Velandia, Jessica Lamdon, Vinny, Shane, Ebonie, Kim Rottier and more. MISSION
To teach dancers and non-dancers the foundations, technique, and history of Brazilian Zouk with the roots in Lambada in a comfortable friendly environment, so that they can social dance in any setting.
WHY DARE TO ZOUK?
Because the DARE TO ZOUK program is designed for those new to ZOUK, all students will feel as if they started together. This sense of camaraderie is helpful in learning Brazilian Zouk, because right away the people in your START GROUP will be your forever support in the world of ZOUK. So make sure you get to know your 2022 NYC ZOUK FESTIVAL START GROUP!!!! Learn and grow with your peers in an amazing relaxed environment. You will build friendships that will extend far beyond the festival and that makes us HAPPY!!!

The NewComer DARE TO ZOUK PROGRAM will take place on October 4TH and October 5TH and it will also include access to the parties on Saturday and Sunday evening. You also have access to attend Friday evening as well should you want to experience what it feels like at a social.
